What to look for
Cockpit mask
The A350's cockpit windows sit inside a distinctive dark eye-mask. The 787 has a more conventional separate windscreen outline.
Engine nacelles
The 787's nacelles have serrated chevrons around the rear edge. The A350's nacelle trailing edge is smooth.
Wing and wingtip
